Meadows' experience dates back to 1970 when he was introduced to the construction industry by his Father. As early as 1971 Dave participated in major projects such as the construction of the Collinsville High School and has since been involved with many other projects in the area such as being labor foreman on the Illinois Department of Transportation Headquarters, Illinois State Police Headquarters, the Drury Inn, and numerous others in the Eastport Plaza area. Dave's knowledge of residential structure components and systems has been acquired through rehabbing previously owned real estate of his own as well as others in the entire Metro-East area. Recent accomplishments include the completion of a new residential rental complex in which he Supervised and/or installed all components and systems from site preparation to completion. Dave was certified as a Member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, better known as ASHI, by passing the stringent National Home Inspectors Exam. We are also licensed by the State of Illinois to practice home inspections through the Office of Banks and Real Estate. He has also completed courses in building construction at the University of Illinois as well as Fire Defense Planning from Western Illinois University. Dave has attended BOCA building code as well as BOCA Fire Prevention Code classes. For the last 15 years he has participated in Fire and Safety Inspections for the Collinsville Fire Department and is currently a Lieutenant in charge of Fire Prevention and Building Inspections for the Collinsville Fire Department.
